Whatever it Takes!!
Mark Althoff is a graduate of Old Dominion University with a degree in
Therapeutic Recreation and an emphasis in psychology. Mark grew up and has
lived in the Baltimore Metropolitan area all his life. After living in Baltimore City
and Baltimore County primarily, has resided in Forest Hill of Harford County, MD
for the last 20 years.
Buying, selling and rehabbing houses were hobbies for most of his life and he
decided to formalize that knowledge and become a Realtor. Mark’s intimate
knowledge of Baltimore City, Baltimore County and now Harford and Cecil
Counties has served his clients well.
Prior to this second career, Mark devoted his time to nonprofit organizations,
specifically children with disabilities. Most recently he worked 20+ years at The
Maryland School for the Blind. In his spare time, you could have found him on
soccer fields throughout the state or serving on the soccer board for the Hickory
Fountain Green program.
“Whatever it Takes”
But now, with the exception of spending quality time with his wife, four children
and two young grandchildren, he has fully committed himself to meeting the
needs of his real estate clients from Cecil, Baltimore, Harford and Anne Arundel
Counties and Baltimore City. Whatever it Takes is his mantra and he has been
known to mulch flower beds while clients are on a cruise and the landscaper falls
through or shovel a deck and walkway while clients are looking for housing
across the country.
“Mark went above and beyond for our family and we felt truly blessed to have him
as an agent. His service was outstanding and we felt like we were dealing with
an old friend. He is an outstanding agent.” – JoAnn and Gary Durrett
